Located in the Manchester Historic District, the two townhouses at 1403-1405 Pennsylvania Avenue had been vacant for years and had deteriorated badly before Landmarks Development Corporation acquired and restored them in 2017. Architect Milton Ogot teamed with CitySTUDIO and HNMS Inc. to address significant structural issues including foundation settlement, rebuilt three of four exterior walls, and installed 42 new windows. Each three-story townhouse features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, hardwood floors, ten-foot ceilings, open-concept kitchen and dining, and central air conditioning. Both were made available for $250,000 each to qualifying households.
