Explore the Gateway Center-area buildings and rooftop gardens constructed in the 1950s and 1960s during Pittsburgh’s first Renaissance and hear about the creation of the 36-acre Point State Park, dedicated in 1974. This is a new downtown walking tour and is the result of PHLF’s successful nomination in 2013 of the Pittsburgh Renaissance Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places.
