Details

  • 33 affordable housing units, Completed December 2016, $11.5 million restoration

The Falconhurst Apartments at 724 Kelly Avenue sat vacant for more than 15 years before PHLF and Landmarks Development Corporation undertook its restoration as part of the Falconhurst Neighborhood Restoration Development Program. Completed in December 2016, the $11.5 million project used federal historic rehabilitation tax credits and low-income housing tax credits through the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency to create 33 units of affordable housing. The project was funded with support from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Allegheny County, and PNC Bank.
